Goods tokens show their value small on the front and large on the back. Bonus tokens show it only on the back.

   Camels. Place 3 camel cards face up between the players.

   Shuffle and deal. Shuffle the rest well and deal 5 cards to each player.

   Market. The rest form a face-down deck. Turn 2 cards face up next to the camels so the market has 5 (camels are fine).

   Herds. Each player takes any camels out of their hand and puts them face up in a stack in front of them: their herd.

   Goods tokens. Sort by goods type. Stack each type in descending value and spread each stack so both players can see every value.

   Bonus tokens. Sort by type (3, 4 and 5 cards), shuffle each separately, and make 3 face-down piles. Put the camel token beside them.

   Seals. Put the 3 Seals of Excellence within reach. Pick a starting player.
